Digital Communications Assistant / Social Media Operatives (x2)


RAIN is looking for creative individuals who can support our efforts to create an engaging web and social media presence with a reach across the UK and Brazil.. The digital communications assistant will work with management help to coordinate content and support the delivery of RAIN’s digital strategy, ideas, initiatives and campaigns.


The digital communications assistant will work closely with management and graphic designers to;

  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) which builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Assist in the development of our online presence and activity to increase reach, engagement and interaction from target communities and the wider public
  • Assist in the coordination of regular communications to members and supporters through our newsletters
  • Maintain a cross-platform posting schedule (FB-IG) (Hootsuite/Buffer) to help streamline and automate workflows.
  • Work with metrics and analytics to optimise the content we share.
Requirements
  • Proven working experience in the social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • Fluency in English
About RAIN:

RAIN (Regenerative Agroforestry Impact Network) is a non-profit CIC catalysing community-led reforestation efforts in the UK and Brazil through international mutual aid and community-led projects. We have a number of projects that integrate environmental action with the arts.
