Recruiting Organization: The Fit and Food Connection

We are currently seeking a volunteer registered nurse who will work 1-6 hours per month to support the wellness team in collecting client health statistics for data collection and education.

This volunteer will:

• Support group and one-on-one health screening events.
• Plan and execute taking wellness stats on clients including weight, blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood sugars.
• Collect information that will help track our clients’ success and help secure grant funding to positively impact more lives.

Some other areas of volunteer nursing support may include follow-up communications with clients after a health screening event to discuss results and connecting them to necessary Fit & Food resources or behind-the-scenes tasks to further The Fit and Food Connection’s life-changing wellness mission.

We are looking for leaders who are willing to make a long-term commitment.

The Fit and Food Connection is a non-profit organization serving our neighbors in the St. Louis community. We provide wellness offerings to low-income families and empower our clients to get healthy through our free fitness and nutrition programs.
