Our Marketing Team will be responsible for promoting events, maintaining our social media pages, creating visuals for social media posts and other teams, etc.

Position Description: Marketing Team Director

The responsibilities of a Marketing Team Director on our Marketing Team will include:

• Working with the team to produce quality content
• Hosting weekly meetings with the whole Marketing team to discuss plans for the next week/month
• Providing the President and Vice-president with weekly updates
• Recruiting and working with Ambassadors that will promote our organization
• Please note that this executive position requires someone really responsible because they are responsible for managing the whole Marketing team and our social media pages

Requirements:

• Familiarity and proficiency with Canva
• Previous graphic design experience
• It is highly recommended to have previous experience
• Previous experience can include volunteering with another organization as a graphic designer or designing graphics using platforms such as procreate
• Ability to learn to quickly use new software
• Able to give and receive constructive feedback
• High school student, post-secondary student, or youth
• Proficient English-speaking skills

General Information:

• By applying, you are committing yourself to at least 6 months in this position, if you are chosen
• Applicants successful at the first stage (the google forms application) will be contacted for a short interview through zoom
• Time commitment is: estimated 2-3 hours a week
