But they will also learn how people are no different than them. Volunteer Society Nepal offers a family volunteering program. This program is a great way for families to experience Nepal and get closer to local communities. You can work with your family on a community development project. And explore a new country and a new culture at the same time.

We can provide a safe and secure experience that provides to families with kids of all ages and tastes. We have home stays that can provide your family a place to live together with plenty of space and privacy. The Nepalese love children and will love to play and take care of them. Your children will also learn the importance of community and compassion. Volunteer Society Nepal gives you the opportunity to dive deep into foreign cultures, enrich your family, strengthen your bonds and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Upon your decision to come here, we will make a plan together that will fully accommodate you and your family. As we research and discuss volunteer projects and programs you get to know preferences of your children and pull their interest in their preferred areas like animal welfare, help with women centers, disability centers and/or schools.

Volunteer Society Nepal has discovered some specific destinations in Nepal which are highly rich in culture and are blessed with natural beauty. But among these beauties and pleasure there also exists some vulnerable sections and communities that are looking for help. All family members can contribute as much or little as they want. Children are incorporated in the projects where ever appropriate and made to work side by side with team and community members. Typical projects include teaching English, working in disability centers, refurbishing community buildings, animal welfare, conservation and many more.
