Deliver the power of education to a Chicagoland student today! Become a weekly volunteer tutor with Tutoring Chicago and work one-to-one with a 1st-8th grade student. For the 2021-2022 program year, both in-person and virtual tutoring options are available.
Volunteer tutors provide academic support and serve as a role model and mentor to students from across the city. Weekly tutoring sessions focus on a variety of academic subjects, social-emotional learning, and the importance of accountability. No prior teaching experience is required, orientation and training are provided to all volunteers. Tutoring sessions take place Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30PM (CST).
