Recruiting Organization: The Pollination Project Foundation
The Pollination Project is a unique global foundation that exists to uplift selfless grassroots volunteerism for a kinder, more compassionate world. Every day of the year, our network selects a new project to be the recipient of $1,000 in seed funding. As that project blossoms, leaders can access capacity-building support, encouragement, and deep connections with others. Through these efforts, we seed a vibrant community of global changemakers who seek to uplift their communities and spread compassion in the world for the benefit of all.
We are looking for volunteers who are able to commit 4-6 hours per week to provide support at various stages of our seed funding process. As an integral part of our team, volunteers will support the main components of our grantmaking process by 1) Prescreening incoming grant applications and 2) summarizing the impact of projects that have already received funding support from TPP.
As a prescreener, you will be the first person to review incoming grant applications. This is a great role for someone who is comfortable exercising independent judgment, has great attention to detail, and can see the story that exists within each application.
Reporting volunteers help our team better understand the projects’ impact through the words of the grantees’ reports. This is a great role for someone who enjoys reviewing and cohesively summarizing narratives, photos, videos, and other information we receive from grantees, and loves to share the projects’ impact with our network. You will be able to use your independent judgement to share extraordinary stories of impact in communities all over the world.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about grassroots work around the world while directly supporting changemakers in reaching their dreams.
