POSITION Status: Volunteer

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

SickKids Foundation has been the Canadian Food Truck Festivals charitable partner since the

organization’s inception in 2013. To date, more than $186,000 in donations have been raised at the

festivals entrances for the hospital’s lifesaving programs. The funds raised through this event will be

allocated to the Possibilities Fund, supporting the highest priority needs at SickKids. Canadian Food Truck Festival will bring together live musical performances and 30-50 Food Trucks showcasing diverse and delcious menus in beautiful green parks.

POSITION:

Donations Team: Volunteers will assist with welcoming and engaging attendees to support and donate to SickKids Foundation. Volunteers will also be responsible for assisting all attendees with possible questions and inquiries they may have about the Festival. ie: festival dates, times, locations of food trucks (volunteers age 14+ welcome). Volunteer hours will be provided.

DATES AND LOCATIONS:

• SEPTEMBER 10th: Spencer Smith Park, (Burlington) 1400 Lakeshore Rd (5pm-11pm)

• SEPTEMBER 11th: Spencer Smith Park, (Burlington) 1400 Lakeshore Rd (12pm-5pm & 5-11pm)

• SEPTEMBER 12th: Spencer Smith Park, (Burlington) 1400 Lakeshore Rd (12pm-4pm & 4pm-8pm)

HOW TO APPLY:

Please note, this event will be organized, supervised, and executed by a third-party event team who will be fundraising in support of SickKids. This event is not a SickKids Foundation lead event, run, or organized by SickKids Foundation staff members.
