Recruiting Organization: The Together Plan

This is a role for a volunteer case worker to be part of a dedicated team, some in the UK and some in Belarus. The role involves the management of enquiries from people located all around the world who are looking for historical family documents in Belarus and be part of the process of connecting them to their ancestry. This is part of the fascinating work of the Charity working to build a Jewish Cultural Heritage Trail in Belarus and support the revival of Jewish life there and is an exciting project to be a part of - often with many intruiging twists and turns.

below. The volunteer will need to ensure that all communication

is written in correct English. It is therefore essential to have an excellent grasp of both written and spoken English.

It significantly helps to have an interest in the work of the charity and our other projects.

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Quick learner
• Database experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Role Duties:

• Acting as the go-between clients and the archive team in Belarus
• Communicating with clients and updating them on the status of their archive search
• Checking in with clients and keeping up to date with all ongoing archive enquiries.
• Editing and checking a final report to be presented to the client at the end of their search - training will be provided.
• Helping to form a relationship between The Together Plan and the client.
