Recruiting Organization: Multicultural Child & Family Hope Center
Volunteers must have their COVID vaccine and a negative TB result since they will be working with young children. As well as, have a background check run through WATCH. Volunteers must be CPR/First Aid certified (https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/cpr/cpr-training/cpr-certification) and have a food handlers card (https://www.foodworkercard.wa.gov/).
Volunteers will work one-on-one with children, as well as, in groups depending on the activity and level of need with instructing. During these sessions, volunteers will be dancing with the child(ren) and assist with dance skills and styles. We will provide music and space for dancing, dance activities and/or games that volunteers wish to do.
Volunteer hours will be before and/or after school, from 7:00am to 8:00am and 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Hours will change when students are on break.
There will be further instructions and guidelines provided once the volunteer is accepted. Volunteers will also go through orientation/training once a volunteer.
