Art & Acceptance is sponsored by The Church of St. Luke in the Fields. We are a Saturday night drop-in program for LGBTQ+ youth (16-29) who are experiencing homelessness or are marginally housed. The program runs every Saturday, year-round. Our mission is to create a hospitable, harm-reduction, gender-diverse safe space. We provide our guests with dinner, recurring health and legal clinics, and other regular activities, including space for art, writing, dance, and games. A social worker and mental health counselor are available to provide some crisis support. This program is a completely secular/ non-sectarian.

Volunteers

• Help serve food to guests
• Coordinate our Pop-Up "Shop," where we provide free clothing and personal care items
• Participate in arts activities and games

The shift runs from 4:15 to 7:30 on a Saturday evening. Come join us in a lighthearted, fun community space, and help make a difference in people's lives. If it's your first time, we will talk on the phone and then provide simple materials to help orient you.
