Recruiting Organization: Hampden Family Center

Hampden Family Center is looking for a couple of dedicated and passionate volunteers to join our young people in our After School Enrichment Program back to the Center.

The After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) at Hampden Family Center (HFC) offers programming to children grades 1-5. Young people join us Monday through Thursday after school for enrichment activities including but not limited to coding, art, gardening, board games, sports, and varying projects as they develop creativity, confidence, and fellowship in the community.

We are currently seeking volunteers to support our in-person program at the Family Center. At the Center, you will have the opportunity to engage with young people in the Hampden Community in a positive and energy-filled atmosphere.

For more information on Hampden Family Center and our programming that supports the whole family please see our website: https://hampdenfamilycenter.org/

Requirements:

  • Preferred but not required: experience working with young people.
  • Volunteers must be 18 or older.
  • Review and sign a copy of our volunteer handbook.
  • Complete fingerprinting and a background check. Once onboarded, volunteers will receive reimbursements for fingerprinting and background check fees.
