Recruiting Organization: The Friendship Squad

The Friendship Squad is currently a project that pairs people with serious mental illness and/or addiction challenges in friendships with people who have survived and learned from these experiences. Our goal is to connect people who are isolated and may not feel that they deserve a friend with someone excited about being their friend.

The plan is to become a nonprofit in 2022. Currently seeking advisors with any of the following knowledge and/or experience: nonprofit law, liability law, nonprofit management, social media, online marketing, social service development, event planning, social research.

Not a big time commitment, but it is a commitment to seeing us provide the best nonclinical service we can and to ultimately expand the model.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

"I have been matched with a wonderful and caring human of worth. I am pleased to continue with my friend matched for me. Thank you!! I am deeply grateful for The Friendship [Squad's] support as my friend and I are supporting each others' life journey." --Anonymous
