Volunteering Untapped Chicago is looking for a new Social Partnerships Coordinator!

The Social Partnerships Coordinator will be part of the Community Engagement team that consists of the Director of Community Engagement, the JEDI Lead, and two Social Partnerships Coordinator (applicant would be the second).

The Social Partnerships Coordinator will be supporting the Community Engagement team with the following tasks:

- Research and reach out to potential venues to host VU Chicago for monthly post-event social gatherings, volunteer recruitment and cultivation events, JEDI learning sessions, and fundraisers.

- Organize seasonal recreational leagues and other additional VU social events.

- Support donation procurement, planning, and day of operations of all fundraisers, including the Annual Gala & Anniversary Event

- Participate in quarterly Leadership Team meetings. (This is typically a 1-2 hour commitment, 4 times a year outside of normal business hours (~6PM Start Time).

- Communicate via Slack with all VU Chicago Leadership Team as needed.

- Attend monthly events consistently, arriving early and staying late to assist with duties as needed.
