The FOOD Pantry serves clients on weekday afternoons, Monday evenings, and Saturday monrnings. This volunteer opportunity is for Monday (every other week), Wednesday, Thursday (every other week), or Friday afternoons 12:30-3:15pm. We are looking for volunteers to commit to a once a week or once every other week schedule.
Food Distribution involves either shopping with a client, packing for express pick up, or stocking shelves. Volunteers must be able to stand for the whole shift and lift up to 30 lbs occasionaly (repeatedly if in the stocker role). These are fast pace roles so that clients can move through the pantry in a timely manner. This is a very busy volunteer position. Training will be provided.

Description
We provide free groceries to people living in Waukesha County in need of food assistance. We are an equal opportunity provider and will help everyone we are able to, free of charge, and with complete privacy. We understand that after bills, rent, or unexpected financial troubles, many people are left with very little money, if any, for food. Our mission is to help people through those times.
