Being part of a creative team is your jam. Telling stories. Digging into facts. You want to help listeners connect to conversation through youth leadership, community access, nature education, and personal stories. Perhaps you have the gift of music and like to compose short music pieces to support a story. Maybe you have an eye for detail and love editing audio.

Project Imo produces a jaunty little conservation podcast where we explore topics of outdoor education, positive youth development, community building, nature education, and how they all connect to protect the natural world. Our team would love support through developing story concepts, research, scripting, and editing. This can lead to guest host opportunities for interested volunteers.

Interested folk will have listened to some Village Voices episodes to see where we’re going and will have a working knowledge of Audacity software for editing or a dedicated interested in learning it. Podcast volunteers can also find space in developing and researching compelling stories or composing short music sections to support the story. Find links to the podcast here https://projectimo.org/village-voices-podcast.

Volunteers can be remote but must have suitable desktop or laptop computing capacity for the role as well as a suitable microphone if eventually working in the recording environment.

Project Imo incorporates youth voice into our work. This opportunity is available to youth to assist.

We’re looking forward to telling stories with you!
