Help us celebrate & raise funds for More Than a Bed, a Tucson 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that provides essential items to foster, kinship, and adoptive families for the children in their homes, including those in a congregate care setting because every child deserves to be valued.
You don't have to know anything about golf, you just need to work well with others for this event.
We will be most busy first thing in the morning, then when the golfers depart, there will be a significant downtime while the golfers do their thing. Morning help is great for those who like to see how events are run. This person should like to assist with check-in, encourage golfers to check out the auction items, and participate in other fundraising ways.
If you're available in the afternoon shift, please plan on assisting with auction items and our 50/50.

More Than a Bed's mission is to provide essential items to foster, kinship, and adoptive families for the children in their homes because every child deserves to be valued.
Description
More Than a Bed was established in September 2014. We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and are a Christian resource center for foster and adoptive families. Our vision is to inspire the community to get involved in the life of a foster child and support the family providing care. To encourage new families to be licensed and existing families to remain licensed with the goal of every child in Pima County and its surrounding areas to have a safe place to call home.
In our 5,000 sq ft warehouse we provide clothing, shoes, bedding, baby items, school items, books, cribs, toys, household items for the families to come in and shop for free for the items they need to provide for the child/children placed in their care. Through grants we purchase items much needed including cribs, twin and toddler beds, bunk beds, diapers and underwear. We believe every child should feel valued, so by helping the families get the essential needs for the children we hope we are accomplishing this.
