ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Paw Patrol volunteers assist in patrolling the park grounds, modeling good dog-owner behavior, and educating visitors about the park and its history. By regularly walking the grounds with their furry friends, Paw Patrollers can assist rangers in keeping the park beautiful and safe, and have the opportunity to welcome new visitors to enjoy the outdoors and to learn more about the parks.


Duties include:

· Grounds patrol

· Initiating visitor contacts

· Providing visitor orientation

· Reporting compendium violations

· Answering questions of a historical nature

· Crowd control and parking (as needed)
