Devils Courthouse Rover Volunteer

Volunteers in the Devils Courthouse Rovers Program will engage with park visitors, answering questions and sharing important information about critically imperiled resources at the site including sensitive plants and peregrine falcons. Members of the rover team will have a direct impact on preserving park resources and serving park visitors at one of the parkway's most iconic locations.
Devils Courthouse is a landmark cliff face near milepost 422.4 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The steep 200-foot tall bluff on the eastern side is a prominent in the landscape and visible from the Parkway motor road. The cliff is accessed via a .5 mile trail to the summit and has become a popular destination for locals an visitors alike.
Volunteers are asked to commit to a weekly, 3 hour shift, either 10 am-1pm or 1pm-4 pm from April 1 - July 3 .
