The Visitor Center Volunteer will be an integral member of the park's Interpretation and Education team by assisting in offering excellent customer service and learning opportunities for park visitors. In this position, v olunteer will assist park visitors at the Hangar Visitor Center or Johnson City information desk by providing accurate information on park resources, directions, special events, and park safety. As a result, volunteer will provide visitors an opportunity to have a safe, enjoyable, and educational park experience.
Lyndon B. Johnson NHP is located in beautiful Hill Country and is divided into two districts. The park headquarters is in Johnson City, approximately 48 miles west of Austin, and 64 miles north of San Antonio. The LBJ Ranch is located in Stonewall, TX which is 14 miles West of the park headquarters.
Housing available for volunteers upon request and if available. 32 hours per week are required.
