Emerald Creek Campground features 18 camp units, potable water (by hand pump), and 3 vault toilets. A short distance from the campground is The Garnet Area which is one of our most popular recreation sites. With a reservation forest visitors can dig for gem-quality star garnets, which can only be found in two places in the world, here and India. The campground is located on the St. Joe Ranger District, and approximately 45 minutes South of St. Maries, Idaho in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests.
