Volunteers Needed for the American Diabetes Association EXPO!

9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Minneapolis Convention Center
The American Diabetes Association - Minnesota Area is looking for volunteers to help with our annual Diabetes EXPO which will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Minneapolis Convention Center. We hope you will join us!
The EXPO is free for participants to attend and includes health screenings, cooking demonstrations, product and service exhibitors, as well as leading experts talking about diabetes management and prevention. Participants get the latest information on preventing and managing diabetes while learning how to live healthy, be active, and change the future of diabetes.
We need your help to make the Diabetes EXPO a success! Volunteers will receive free entrance to the EXPO and a T-shirt; however, parking reimbursement will not be provided. There are three shift options for volunteers on Saturday, October 15th:
Morning Shift - from 8:15am - 12:15pm
Afternoon Shift - from 11:45pm - 3:15pm
All Day Shift - from 8:00am - 3:15pm. Volunteers who work the "All Day" shift will be provided lunch.
Volunteers are also needed for set-up and take down.
Friday Setup - Friday, Oct. 14th from 9:00am - 12:00pm and/or 1:30pm - 5:00pm
Saturday Takedown - Saturday, Oct. 10th beginning at 3:00pm and working until done (approximately 5:00pm)
