The Great Divide Ranger District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest is looking for a motivated volunteer to serve as a campground host at Stockfarm Bridge Campground. The campground is located in northwest Wisconsin, near the towns of Glidden and Butternut.

If you are interested in a quiet campground and trail riding, then Stockfarm Bridge Campground is just the right place for you. Campsites are situated within a red pine forest.


Stockfarm Bridge Campground is located on the East Fork of the Chippewa River. The river has class I and II rapids and is a good stream to canoe in medium to high water. There is also good fishing. The campground is located near the Dead Horse Run ATV trail.


There are 8 campsites available at Stockfarm Campground. There is one group site. Sites can be used for tents and RV camping. Each site has a campfire ring and a picnic table. Vault toilets and drinking water is also available. The campground has trash collection and a recycling area.


Fuel, fishing supplies, firewood, ice, and restaurants are within 10 miles of this campground, in the town of Glidden.
