ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

People from around the world visit Palo Alto Battlefield NHP. Many know little about the Battle or U.S.-Mexican War and want to learn the history. Others want to go birdwatching or enjoy nature.

We need friendly volunteers to greet visitors, provide them information to safely enjoy the park, and help them feel connected to Palo Alto.

Don’t worry if you don’t know much about the Battle of War. We’ll train you and always be a backup for visitor questions.
