Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that is close to local conveniences? Apply for a position at the Parkway Visitor Center, milepost 266 on the Natchez Trace Parkway, in Tupelo, MS. For information about the Parkway please visit .

RV Hosts: In exchange for 32 hours a week (24 hours each if a couple), the volunteer (VIP) will receive a private RV site with full hook-up, if needed. We require a three-month commitment (and occasionally a 2-month commitment for VIPs with previous NPS VC experience).

Local volunteers: A commitment of a minimum of two days a month.

***Volunteer Vaccine Attestation Requirement*** Volunteers whose service requires their regular presence in NPS buildings or government vehicles must complete a Certification of Vaccination form. If they have NOT attested to being fully vaccinated, they must also possess and present a negative COVID-19 test result from within the 3 days immediately prior to the date of entry. They must also maintain completed form (and test result, if necessary) on their person for the duration of their volunteer term and present it to the volunteer manager or volunteer supervisor, as needed. They must also comply with all public health protocols in place at the Natchez Trace Parkway.
