Volunteers will work as a team to assist with grounds care (including pruning, planting, mulching, overall plant maintenance), water and weed landscaped areas, prune small trees and shrubs to maintain size, assist in landscape construction and development, identify and remove invasive species, keep grounds free of debris (including litter and tree limbs), clean gravestones, and other opportunities which have been discussed, assigned, and agreed upon between the volunteer and the site supervisor. This volunteer opportunity may require kneeling, lifting materials, and working outdoors during all weather conditions. Projects may require the use of gardening tools, and if so, volunteers will be trained on any equipment which may be unfamiliar. Volunteers must follow all safety protocols while performing the assigned task. Special procedures will be in place to minimize potential contact with the COVID-19 virus.


Volunteers must be available at least once a week and will be expected to work four to six hours per week.
