Position Duties: Volunteer may conduct a variety of research work, such as research for park programming, the park website, and for the park’s social media platforms. Special one-time projects may also be assigned based on employee interest and park needs. Independent research may entail working in park archives, historical societies, local libraries, and using online sources.
Requirements: Wearing of the park uniform may or may not be required. Prior research experience or interest in American History required. Student positions may require being in a current BA/MA/PhD program in history or historic preservation.
