Cumberland Island NS is in need of volunteers who are willing and capable to maintain the walking trails at the park. The park has made an effort to maintains its nature walking trails during COVID to provide more outdoor recreational opportunities to visitors and local community members. The work is average to moderately strenuous involving walking and cutting of brush, limbs to clear pathways. Work will primarily be down with hand tools and possibly polesaw or other light powered tools.
We are primarily looking for local volunteers or volunteers with their own housing.
