Dam West Recreation Area Volunteer Information Booth Attendant
ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Please visit the new page to apply.
One volunteer/couple is needed at the Dam West Recreation Area Information Booth to stop visitors as they enter the area to remind them of the rules of the beach as well as boat rafting rules while on the lake. We expect this volunteer/couple to be helpful, polite, and welcoming to our visitors as they begin their day at Lake Shelbyville. Hours will be flexible but Friday-Sunday is required. No fees will be collected at this booth due to the installment of new fee machines at the boat ramp and beach. These duties need to reflect approximately 20 hours/week per volunteer in exchange for a full hook-up campsite located in the Dam West Recreation Area.
