Volunteers will be working with Recreation Operations of the Willamette Valley Project (WVP) for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers throughout the entire WVP (13 projects).
Duties include light maintenance, visitor assistance, dam tours, parades and other outreach programs, light paperwork, gate attendance, equipment operations such as weed eating, backpack blowing, litter pickup, removing graffiti and watering trees. Duration is early spring and late summer. All duties will be based on skill set and availability. Background check is required to perform duties. All Corps lands around both Dorena and Cottage Grove Lakes have an alcohol prohibition. All Corps personnel, contractors, volunteers and the public are required to follow this restriction .
