We are searching for dedicated volunteers to work at Charles Pinckney National Historic Site in Mount Pleasant, SC. Front Desk Volunteers provide basic information to the public, assist rangers with programming, and may be asked to help with light cleaning of the 1828 historic home.
Volunteers undergo an orientation and training to learn more about Charles Pinckney, the Lowcountry, and plantation life in the south. Additional opportunities, such as working special events or giving guided programs, are available too.
Volunteers are required to be trained on the cash register to support book store operations.
A minimum of one, 4-hour shift every two weeks is required to be considered for this position.
