Support Town Hall Arts Center as an Usher for one of our Main Stage or Education performances, or Concerts!

Interested individuals should enjoy interacting with the public, be comfortable standing for up to one hour, be willing to assist in an emergency and love theatre! We encourage friends, family and colleagues to volunteer together.

As an usher, you will be responsible for:

  1. Reviewing and Confirming Patron tickets for the correct performance
  2. Guiding patrons to their correct seats prior to a performance
  3. Utilizing an elevator for patrons
  4. Answer general questions about Town Hall Arts Center

Shift Expectations:

  1. Ushers join us before a performance begins and stays throughout the performance to scan tickets, assist with programs, guide patrons to their seats and answer questions.
  2. Shifts are typically about 4 hours long, depending on the event.
    1. Performances typically occur Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
  3. Ushers should feel comfortable standing for one hour and working with technology (scanners and Square cashiering system).
  4. Ushers should have access to black bottoms and shoes as well as a white business professional shirt (if you have a barrier in access to these items, please reach out to Savannah directly,

  • evening / 06:15 PM to 10:15 PM
    Shift time are approximate and shift +/- one hour depending on performance

Founded in 1982, the Littleton Town Hall Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. Our mission is to enrich the cultural, social and educational life of the community through professionally produced live theatre, concerts, other cultural events and year round educational programs for children and adults.


Town Hall Arts Center (THAC) is a professional performing arts center and art gallery. During the season from September through June, THAC produces six main stage musicals or comedies, concerts, and children’s theatre programs.

  • Shifts are approximately 4 hours in length (arrive prior to performance and stay through the entire performance). Volunteers should plan on committing to 2-3 shifts per show, per season.
  • Ability to stand comfortably for 1 hour, ability to use an electronic scanner.
