Volunteers are needed to spend time with hospice patients in various locations in the greater Hingham area. Come share the joys of visiting with our hospice patients. Put a smile on their face and a warm feeling in their hearts.
What can volunteer's do?
- Reading to the patient
- Watching a special TV show with the patient
- Sing songs with patients.
- Reminisce with the patient and the family members about the past.
- Share what you do for Springtime fun with the patient.
Being a hospice volunteer is gratifying, intellectually stimulating, and emotionally meaningful to volunteers as well as the patient.
We offer free volunteer training and a certification upon completion the training.
