My husband Luis and I created SoulPhamm as a platform to mentor young people through involvement in sports and the performing arts. Luis passed away suddenly last January, and I decided to press forward and launch SoulPhamm as a nonprofit organization in New Jersey. Grief hurried along the process, and now I want to take the time to make sure that everything is in order so that SoulPhamm can grow into a healthy and strong organization.
I need an attorney who can help me "get SoulPhamm's house in order" - ranging from amending our by-laws to advising me on how to ensure that SoulPhamm lives should something happen to me. All of this work can be done virtually; however, we need someone with knowledge of the laws in New Jersey and New York (where SoulPhamm currently has a presence). We are completely flexible as to timing.

Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
