Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach is recruiting for a weekly Thursday food pantry volunteer at the Johns Island location. Volunteer duties include restocking the shelves and assisting clients shop based on our pantry guidelines. The shift is from 10am to 2pm.

Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach Services has been an anchor in the Sea Island community since before Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and in the eastside of Charleston at the Neighborhood House for over 100 years. We operate two campuses - one on Johns Island that serves residents of Johns, James, and Wadmalaw Islands, West Ashley (inside 526), Adams Run, Meggett, Ravenel, Hollywood, Edisto Island - and the other in the Eastside Community of downtown Charleston that serves residents of downtown Charleston and West Ashley (outside 526). We were founded by the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Mercy in 1989 and we are a 501c3 organization.
