Join the volunteer staff of an energized community development team:

These volunteer positions require a résumé and at least ONE year of professional experience, or the volunteer should be a current student in this field at a local university or college. This position requires the individual to use their proven expertise and experience in creating content for various social media outlets.

  • Public Relations for local publicity campaigns: press releases and other marketing materials; contact with major media, including newspapers, magazines, radio, television, and the Internet.
  • Fund Raising: Strategic plan for campaigns and personal solicitations; planned giving; business; foundation; as well as event sponsorships
  • Photographing and videography: attend events, take photos, and record our events and presence in the community.
  • Marketing Strategic Plan: Staff works with the director and board chair to prepare mission-driven marketing strategies to comply with grants and budgets.
  • We will ask for a sample of your writing.

Description

Women’s Innovative Social Enterprise (WISE) Partnership is a 501(c)(3) social purpose business development nonprofit. W.I.S.E. Partnership is composed of Detroit social entrepreneurs and non-profit leaders. As a Black women-led organization, our goal is to maintain holistic development, environmental sustainability, food insecurity solutions, workforce training and development, youth development, and literacy support together in one accessible and culturally diverse place. Our developments will provide architecturally designed, meditative green spaces.
