"If in financial downturns you remain perfectly calm, and if you can sit quietly after difficult news, and if you can happily eat whatever is put on your plate, and if you can see your neighbors travel to fantastic places without a twinge of jealousy, and if you can fall asleep after a day of running around without a drink or a pill, and if you can always find contentment wherever you are, you are probably..... a Dog."
-Jack Kornfield

Nothing is as comforting as the unconditional love an animal gives. So many patients suffered from isolation, anxiety, confusion and loneliness during the COVID quarantines. Now that the pandemic may be resolving, animals have a great healing and comforting ability. If you are a compassionate, reliable individual with a certified pet therapy animal, please consider joining the Mission Hospice team.
