Represent YWCA out in the community at the Phoenix Pride Rainbow Festival!
Saturday April 1st and Sunday April 2nd | 10am to 6pm Each Day| 115 N 6th St, Phoenix, AZ 85004
The annual Rainbows Festival & Street Fair is a celebration of the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. The event is located in historic Heritage Square Park in Downtown Phoenix. The Rainbows Festival is the 2nd largest LGBTQ+ event in the state of Arizona, only 2nd to the Phoenix Pride Festival. We are looking for volunteers to help represent YWCA for 2-3 hours shifts.

Description
The YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix is a non-profit, social services organization that has been making a positive difference in people's lives in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area since 1912. The YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix improves the quality of community life by advocating for positive change benefiting children, empowering women and girls, economic advancement, racial justice and eliminating racism. Delivering essential programs and services, the YWCA changes the lives of women, seniors and those seeking respect in a multicultural community.
To help understand and actively combat racism and sexism, our equity program’s offer learning sessions and workshops. Our prosperity programs, empower women to take control of their financial independence through free virtual financial education classes. Supporting seniors independence and the dignity of aging in place, we home deliver meals to seniors in the Glendale area and provide a senior community center.
