VOLUNTEER BUSINESS CONSULTANT ROLE

Volunteer Consultants work directly with WEV clients, sharing skills and specialized knowledge within your area of industry expertise. We are currently seeking business consultants from all backgrounds. This includes:

  • Accountants and CPAs
  • Marketing Specialists: Strategy, Social Media, Press and more
  • Technology Specialists: SEO, web design, email hosting, integrations & productivity tools
  • Operations: Distribution, Import/Export, Vendor Sourcing, and more
  • Human Resources: Handbooks, Talent Retention, Benefits and more

Mission Statement

Women's Economic Ventures (WEV) is dedicated to creating a just and equitable society through the economic empowerment of women. WEV provides comprehensive business training as well as individual business consulting, coaching, advanced training, peer support and networking opportunities. WEV provides start-up loans of up to $25,000 and growth loans of up to $150,000 to promising entrepreneurs unable to qualify for traditional financing. WEV became a U S Treasury certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in 1999.
