East County Patient Care Hospice Volunteers Needed
ORGANIZATION: Mission Hospice
Please visit the new page to apply.
Why do people want to volunteer for Hospice?
Like everyone drawn to hospice, it is a calling. You may have had a family member on hospice or some other experience that makes you want to give back. Perhaps you are seeking a career in the health care field. Many of us had to wait during COVID to make a difference. Now we are able to do so, while still taking precautions due to Covid-19.
PPE is provided and infection control is part of training.
Patient Care Volunteers provide a copy of their Covid-19 Vaccination Record.
Mission Hospice patient care volunteers provide patient companionship, offer caregiver relief, and deliver specialty services like massage, music, pet therapy, and haircuts to our patients. Help us meet the post pandemic need. Training is provided. Be a part of the Mission Hospice Team.
