Due to the Pandemic, NMC (Established 2013) has had to go it alone, We are now a 501-c3 nonprofit operating on our own and need volunteers to help us REBUILD...find funding, support, and re-establish audience participation.
One of our major need: NilesMetropolitanChorus.com needs a seasoned but retired Executive Director to help "bring together" our Funding, Marking and Operational volunteer efforts so that we can Safely reopen our Community Chorus and Orchestra 2022 Spring Season.
We also need someone to help us with Community Outreach
NMC serves audiences from Niles, Skokie, Morton Grove, Des Plaines, Park Ridge and NW Chicago

Mission Statement
To provide free transportation to MEDICAL appointments for residents of Maine Township, Illinois (Park Ridge, Des Plaines, parts of Niles and Morton Grove) who are unable to drive themselves.
Description
FISH has been serving Park Ridge and Maine Township residents since 1971. FISH recruits volunteer drivers using their own cars to provide FREE transportation to medical appointments for clients who are unable to drive themselves. About 12-15 FISH volunteers average about 600 round-trip rides per year serving 75-100 active clients at any given time. Most FISH clients are seniors (some needing canes or walkers).
