We are searching for a talented and compassionate musician, choir director and/or singer who is interested in dedicating their time and talents to making seniors' smile!
This individual would volunteer on a weekly or even bi-weekly basis to help lead sing-alongs, engage in musical therapy and have some fun with our participants. DayBreak does have an electric piano you will have access to. This is a great opportunity to give back while doing what you love!

At DayBreak our mission is to enhance the quality of life of our senior participants through daily enriched programs and activities. We aim to diminish caregiver burnout by giving caregivers a break for the day, allowing them time for self-care and revitalization.
Description
DayBreak is just as it sounds: a break from the day for both caregivers and the ones they care for. We provide a unique, safe, day environment in our beautiful, resort-like setting. We're available Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Our services include help for those with memory impairment, strokes, Parkinson's disease, chronic illness, and other health conditions. Our daily activities can include:
Mental games that help promote memory
retention
Socializing in our spacious, beautiful yard area or
our resort-style building
Group activities, including low-impact, safe
exercises
Puzzles
Quilting/Blanket Tying
Old Movies
Crafts
Scenic Tours
Trips for ice cream, donuts and other tasty treats
