Interested in going into the medical/healthcare field? Becoming a hospice volunteer is a great way to gain experience from the patients perspective and stand out with your resume.

This is a great opportunity for those that are retired looking for ways to give back to the community and be involved. Also for students in high school looking for volunteer hours.

Hospice volunteers provide companionship at the end of life. This can look like sitting by their bedside talking with them, holding their hand, reading to them, etc. They provide comfort and support when it is needed most.

Volunteers get to create a visiting schedule that works best for them, at least once a week for around an hour. But we are pretty flexible!

Requirements:
-16+ years old with valid drivers license and auto insurance
-Fully COVID Vaccinated
-Registered with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry
-Drug test
-2 Part TB Test
-Orientation
-Online trainings
