Driver to assist with transporting seniors to and from the facility

DayBreak Senior Services provides adult daycare services for seniors at our beautiful resort-like building and property located at 1351 Valley Drive in Ogden. Currently we are looking for a part-time local driver to provide transportation services for our participants between the hours of 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily pick-up and drop-off of senior participants in our daycare program using a DayBreak vehicle.
• Will train to safely operate a 16-passenger bus, with the objective of providing safe, reliable, and efficient curb-to-curb transportation for our seniors.
• Assists the seniors in the loading and unloading process.
• Responsible for record keeping of pick-up and drop off of participants.
• Reports immediately to Program Director if a participant does not appear for previously scheduled transportation.
• Maintains a schedule of maintenance of the vehicle, including documented safety checks of the safety devices.
• Engages in daily disinfecting of the vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid Class C Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsement and a valid Department of Transportation Medical Certificate.
• Have a good driving record.
• Safe operation of a 16-passenger transportation vehicle.
• Knowledge of the Davis/Weber County area and able to utilize a map or GPS.
• Must keep a neat appearance and possess a sincere desire to work with seniors.
• Be subject to a background check, fingerprint, drug screen & physical (as needed).
• Current CPR/1st Aid Card.
• Able to speak, read and write in English fluently.
