OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
Friends of the Marjorie Stewart Senior Community Center, in Sherwood Oregon, is organized to provide a gathering place for Sherwood Community members, to enjoy social activities which include food, games, education, entertainment to prevent isolation and building community. The friends encourage voluntary service to assist in staffing the Senior Community Center activities and to provide materials, equipment, and services for the Center beyond the reach of the Senior Community Center’s regular budget.
These activities are funded through sale of merchandise through the gift shop, fundraising events, donations for meal scholarships, by direct donation and memorials.
