PLAISTOW & SURROUNDING TOWNS - VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED! The CareGivers has been offering services to our clients in the Greater Manchester and Nashua areas for many years, and we believe it is time for our agency to grow in order to support the needs of those individuals living at the poverty level in/around the Plaistow, NH area.
In order to make this expansion happen, we first need to recruit volunteers. This is where you come in. If you, or someone you know lives in or around Plaistow and would like to volunteer your time driving our clients to medical appointments or to the grocery store, we would love to hear from you!
The best thing about volunteering for The CareGivers is that you can volunteer around your busy schedule; offering as little or as much time as you are able. To make it easier, once you begin as a volunteer driver, you will gain access to our scheduling website that allows you to view any open appointments and assign yourself to the client's ride. Not technologically savvy? That's OK, we can offer you an alternative to scheduling yourself. Description
The CareGivers, Inc. has a history of caring that has spanned 25 years. We are a small, private, grassroots non-profit organization.
We recruit, screen, train and coordinate volunteers to offer presence and assistance to those in need through transportation, companionship, community workshops, a mobile food pantry and service projects. Our programs and services, all free of charge, help vulnerable individuals remain independent in their homes and connected to their communities.
