ORGANIZATION: Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles

We are looking for a volunteer to deliver groceries to approximately five clients in the city. The deliveries will be one morning a week, either Monday or Wednesday. The day of the week must stay consistent weekly, such as every Monday. The deliveries will take about 1.5 hours. Groceries (up to 20 lbs) will be picked up at our SOVA location , 8846 W. Pico Blvd, at Robertson, 90035 at 9:00am. A volunteer would be dropping off groceries up to a 10 mile radius from the pantry. A volunteer is needed who can make the commitment on an ongoing, consistent weekly basis.

Description

We offer a wide range of flexible and meaningful volunteer opportunities across Los Angeles. We need volunteers to help in a variety of ways, including offering social support to isolated older adults, transportation assistance for older adults and adults with disabilities, and help at our meal programs, senior centers, domestic violence shelters, food pantries and more!
