KidSport Uganda is a registered non profit Community Based Organization (CBO) found in Kibale Town Council, Pallisa district, Uganda. Its mission is to create sports opportunities for hundreds of disadvantaged children within Kibale Town Council through donations of sports equipment, kit; and instruction/coaching.
KidSport Uganda is implementing a Community Football Initiative in partnership with Community Football Clubs through which it is committed to increasing participation and expanding access to football opportunities.
However these children lack football knowledge, skills and tactics. They do not receive any football training and coaching but instead spend all their time on the football pitch chasing after the ball. The lack of football knowledge, skills and tactics is therefore denying these children the opportunity to experience the joy of playing organised football.
To address this challenge, KidSport Uganda is therefore looking for international football coaching volunteers to instruct these disadvantaged children in our partner community football clubs and local primary schools on how to play structured /organised football and to teach them football based values for use both on the pitch and in their everyday life.

Description
KidSport Uganda is a registered non profit Community Based Organizstion (CBO). It was set up to address the challenge of severe lack of appropriate sports gear and coaching/instruction.
We believe that access to sports is both a celebrity and fundamental right for every child with passion for sports and a desire to play it regardless of their constraint.
KidSport Uganda is located in Kibale Town Council, Pallisa District Uganda.
We target hundreds of disadvantaged children from 6 to 16 years, who are passionate about playing sports but lack the necessary resources to play with.
KidSport Uganda is currently running a Community Football Initiative through which we are working to increase football opportunities and children's participation.
Our main programs are;
1.Football Equipment Program solicits for gently used football gear from wellwishers from across the world for redistribution to community football clubs.
2.Football Coaches Training Program trains local coaches to teach children game of football and essential social values.
3.Football Coaching Volunteer Program recruits international football coaching volunteers to teach children both the game of football and important values.

- We expect volunteers to commit between four (04) and twelve (12) weeks of their time to this football coaching opportunity.
