Social Media Intern

Sonder Hospice is seeking bright, dynamic, motivated interns to join our growing team of community helpers and compassionate caregivers.

Who is a good fit?

The ideal candidate is motivated by Sonder Hospice’s vision of improving quality of life and caring for those coping with chronic illnesses. This person is excited about the opportunity to be a positive influence through social media, takes pride in their work, and enjoys learning and collaborating. Abilities include social media marketing, design, and content management. The job requires someone who is detail oriented, creative, thoughtful, intelligent and motivated.

Responsibilities

Create unique + engaging social media content

Work with the supervisor to implement long-term + short-term media campaigns

Monitor analytics from running social posts to identify viable ideas

Create and design shareable content for upcoming events

Find new, scalable ways to grow social media following and increase engagement

Why Intern with Sonder?

Interning with Sonder Hospice gives students an opportunity to work directly with clinicians and management gaining hands-on experience supporting a brand, the community and a purpose-driven mission. Interns gain the opportunity to familiarize themselves with healthcare, business, and marketing in a real world setting.

All internship opportunities are unpaid. Credit is not required but we can provide documentation if needed.

Reporting directly to the Volunteer Coordinator and CEO, the Social Media Intern will assist with general content creation for all official Sonder social media accounts.

While there will be occasional in-person meetings, the internship can be performed remotely.
