FVCA is looking to either hire a staff member or recruit volunteers to help assist with two major components of our annual youth summer camp: Administration and Media.

The camp intern role carries out all required administrative tasks in preparation for the start of camp, while camp is in session and after the closure of live camp sessions. He/she would be a key member of the team providing assistance to the camp leadership for any admin overload to make sure everything is set up correctly. In addition to admin duties, the camp intern can help with staff training, recruiting, volunteer group integration and management and camp program bookkeeping tasks.

Prospective summer camp interns would have the opportunity to also use their photography/videography skills to capture our children and teen campers in action. Along with media responsibilities, the intern or volunteer would also manage our various social media campaigns and develop/write content for our camp newsletter including press release and testimonials.

Compensation for this internship starts at $13 per hour or $3,900 for 3 months of service (May-August).
