Are you a Veteran who is looking to give back to Veterans? We invite you to help Kindred Hospice to honor our military veterans who are on hospice care. After years of serving our country they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, and need someone who will give them time and companionship.

Some examples of activities in our program are to:

• Visit someone and share experiences and stories
• Make "check in" phone calls
• Help with pinning ceremonies and distributing certificates
• Help someone navigate Veteran benefits

Come join our Veteran-to-Veteran program. We would love to have you two hours per month, weekly, or anything in-between to fit your schedule and needs. We also recognize the impact COVID-19 has had on visitation and isolation, and are working hard to keep our volunteers and patients safe.

Please reach out if you are interested. We keep our Veterans close to our hearts and welcome those willing to support them.

Areas covered are primarily near/in Quincy and Norwood, but also can include areas near Newton, Worcester, and Holliston.
